Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know Power Automate?
No. AI picks the right monday.com steps for you. We do recommend someone checks each automation before it handles important data, and that you test with a dummy item first.
Which AI should I choose?
Copilot in Power Automate needs no setup and suits quick, everyday automations. It drafts the automation and you finish it.
Claude and GitHub Copilot CLI build, check, save and test the whole thing. They suit bigger automations or building several at once.
Is AI running my automations?
No. AI only sets the automation up. Once it's on, Microsoft Power Automate runs it, the same as one you built by hand.
Does it work with ChatGPT?
Not yet. We'll add ChatGPT once there's a tested way for it to build Power Automate automations.
What does it cost?
Your Plugin Genie plan plus your AI tool's own plan. Plugin Genie doesn't charge extra for AI.
Where does my data go?
AI creates the automation. The automation itself runs in your own Power Automate environment, under your organization's policies. See our Security page for how Plugin Genie handles data.
